Everyday care
- Allow perfume, lotion and hair products to dry before putting jewellery on.
- Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, exercise, sleep and household cleaning.
- Avoid prolonged contact with water, salt, chlorine and cleaning products.
- Handle pearls and stones gently; do not pull, twist or drop the piece.
Cleaning
After wear, wipe gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not soak the piece or use ultrasonic cleaners, steam, abrasive cloths or silver dips unless its specific care instructions confirm suitability.
Storage
Store each piece separately in a dry, soft pouch or lined jewellery box, away from direct sunlight, humidity and heat. Fasten chains before storing and keep harder gemstones separate from pearls to reduce scratching.

Can I shower or swim in freshwater pearl jewelry?
Remove Mineralyra pearl and mixed-gemstone jewelry before showering or swimming. Pearls, metal components and stringing materials need different care; a water-resistant component does not make the entire piece waterproof. Put jewelry on after perfume and cosmetics have dried.
Can I use silver dip or an ultrasonic cleaner on a pearl bracelet?
Do not use silver dip, steam or an ultrasonic cleaner on a mixed pearl piece. A method suitable for one metal can damage another component. For routine pearl care, use a soft, clean cloth after wear. GIA's pearl care guide explains why pearls require gentle handling.
How should I care for the string and clasp?
Handle the fastening rather than pulling on pearls or beads. Avoid forcing a sized ring or bracelet over a joint. Check for fraying or loose connections before wear; if you find damage, stop wearing it and contact us with photographs. The stringing material and construction must be checked for the individual design.
